I can’t cope

Oh wow those pics are gorgeous @Captain24! Wetlands are also up there for me, cos they're always just teeming with life.

Brown snakes is a pretty big reason to avoid a place I have to say! And yeah spider phobia is a rough one in Aus. My house seems to be a hotspot for some of the nastier species, but I won't go into that haha.

Do you and Pix mostly just walk around your neighbourhood? I have a pretty big park behind my house. It's all footy fields and cricket grounds so not that exciting, but at night we get tawny frogmouths which is pretty cool.

Yeah a spider phobia isn’t good. @Jynx. I often have nightmares about spiders. I’m lucky that my house is new so I’ve kept on top of spider spraying it. I also do the outside frequently. I do the inside every time I go away. I don’t want the chemicals in the house while I’m here with Pix.

We have a couple of really nice parks in town. A lot of Sydney Sixers come up for weekends and always comment on them. Pix’s favourite park is on the river. She loves getting in it and chasing the ducks. One day she chased the ducks out into the river and forgot that it got deep. She had to swim her way back in! It was hilarious. Mostly I walk her around the estate out here though. Every direction I walk I can see mountains. I live in a really scenic area.

The field sounds awesome if a night. I saw a tawny frogmouth sitting on a post one night at work. I’ve seen a lot of creatures at work. Roo’s, emus, wombats, snakes, goannas, echidnas, dingoes, koalas.

Aww love that you have mountains all around you, that's super lovely. Mountains are definitely my other fav - so mountains with rainforest? Divine!

Hehe aww Pix, what a perilous predicament for such a puny pup! I do love when our fuzzy ones get in a little bit over their heads. For my cats it's when they accidentally miss a leap, or go to jump somewhere where they don't have enough traction. Their lil faces when they realise their mistake is just pure comedy gold.

Pets are so awesome. They do the cutest things. Pix gives me a laugh a lot. If a big dog comes near her when we are out walking, she hides behind me. Then when they have gone past she barks at them and tries to take them on. If they turn around and look at her she runs back away from them. She is so tough! 😂

Thank you so much for the distraction tonight. I really appreciate it. It has taken me out of my head. I was even able to take my meds safely.

My chest pain is still pretty bad so I’m going to bed. Plus Pix is really sick so I think an early night will do her some good.

I still have my chest pain. It hurts to do anything that requires stretching it. I can’t even touch it for the pain.

I’ve done all my housework and I’m exhausted. I just have to bath Pixie and hang her beds on the line plus have a shower and wash my hair. But I’ve lost my motivation.

I am so tired that all my thoughts have come back. I just don’t want to do this anymore I can’t keep feeling like this. I can’t see any point. I just don’t care for life. I just want to give in.

I’m not in a really good place.

I’ve just been outside laying in the sun, which was nice but it didn’t lift me at all like I was hoping it would.

The only pluses in my life right now is that I have a clean house and clean dog who now doesn’t smell of vomit or diarrhoea!

How have you been? Haven’t seen you for ages.

Yay for a clean dog and clean home! You should be proud of yourself for getting through that this morning, that is a tiring job! My dog hates having baths and runs away from me any chance she can get when she knows it's coming...
