I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

The sleep has helped to settle me down. It was such a stupid thing to get worked up about. But at least I know I’m not the only one. I’m sorry it happened to you too @hanami

Its 100% not you @Bow. You are going through enough as it is. I get like that sometimes when I only have the strength to read a long.

Im sorry about your D @hanami I hope you can get it sorted. I have been around but seem to get not noticed. I did say I was leaving on Sunday but I got talked into giving it another go. So I’ll see if things change.

So I didn’t get everything I needed at the supermarket this morning. I just ducked into town to the other supermarket. I had a trolley of about 10 things and there was an old man behind me with a newspaper and grapes. I told him he could go first and he couldn’t thank me enough and thought it was lovely that I was so considerate. It’s cold out and he really wanted to get home. It was such a change from this morning and I feel good that he appreciated it.

it was ok @Captain24 every day is getting quite tiring but im hoping there will be a shift soon with some more changes being put in place for longer term . got some answers that i have been seeking though so that was good.

It’s good you got some answers @outlander. It’s a hard sector to be in, it would be physically and mentally exhausting. I hope the changes happen soon for you.

im hoping to be changing to a new job soon @Captain24 same sector but more specialised/personalised work compared to what im doing now.
im working the next 6 days straight of varying shifts including night shift so it gives me time to study on those shifts as well
