I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

@Captain24 I'm sure Pixie would disagree with you, you're lil Pixie's whole world; far from useless.

Also, how does one measure uselessness? Our society puts so much pressure on us to work, contribute, be 'successful'. I think there's more to life you know? We don't have to have some grand 'purpose', we are allowed to just go through life having cool experiences, bonding with people and animals, seeing the wild and whacky majesty of nature, and then pop off.

Is there a cool or interesting new experience you've wanted to try for a while? Or some spontaneous lil adventure you could go on tomorrow? Go see a waterfall, or put your toes in the ocean, or play mini golf, go to a break room (where you go and pay a bit of money to be able to take a baseball bat to a bunch of crockery), go play mini golf, try a new craft, dance in under the stars....

Hope it's okay I'm rambling about this stuff, I just hope somewhere in there might be a lil spark of hope for you 💜

I am Pix’s whole world so I guess that is something @Jynx but I feel like I’m letting her down. However, she has snuggled with me the whole day in bed.


Maybe I could take her to the park.

The only thing is the stars if it’s not raining. There is nothing else here. A break room sounds good though.
