Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Hey @Captain24 Sorry you're feeling that way. Here with you tonight 💝

Thanks @Paperdaisy

Ive been doing well for the last few days and thought it was a good sign but I guess not. Knowing I can’t leave the house for 6 more days doesn’t help. I just feel like I’m spiralling down

Are you in isolation with covid @Captain24 Is there anything good on tv you could distract yourself with? Did you start the book?

Re: I can’t cope

Yes @Paperdaisy I have Covid.

I’ve done the diamond dot thing and I’m over it for now. I have tried reading the book but just can’t get into it. Even though she was my idol when I was swimming.

my best friend just suggest a show on Netflix that reminds her of us so I’ll try and watch that.

@Captain24 I have to say the diamond dot thing looks soooo tedious! I find it incredible @tyme found those relaxing! 😆

Books can be funny like that. I read a really good one recently (The Paris Apartment) so I went and bought all the authors books and haven't been able to get into the others. Hopefully I will, just not kicking off yet!

Hopefully the TV can be a distraction.

Have you managed to have some dinner? I hope you haven't lost taste and smell? I've heard that's very strange.

Re: I can’t cope

It is tedious! @Paperdaisy . I friend got it as a farewell gift and didn’t want to do it so she gave it to me for a distraction.

I still have taste and smell so just boiling some pasta for dinner.

It’s really annoying when you find a good book and then the rest just aren’t the same.

I haven’t gotten into the show yet but I’ll keep watching it. It’s probably just my mood that’s doing it.

I missed your post earlier today @Captain24! So sorry you have covid. I really struggled with the isolation too and not being able to leave the house, not even for a walk.

hope your not feeling too miserable.!

Re: I can’t cope

Thanks @Bow . I’m really struggling as walking daily has been so helpful

I just have a cough, sore throat, headache and sore glands. So I’m pretty lucky.

@Captain24 When you are feeling a little better is there some exercise you can do inside? Would you follow a youtube yoga or something?

Do you have an outdoor space where you can get out into some sunshine? Always helps me...

Can you do some online workouts? I’ve found the fiton app to be really good. I cast it to my tv and watch it on the big screen.

but yes, I understand, being trapped .

It’s highly likely that we will bring covid back with us, it seems that whenever you fly, you get it…. Have had a few friends recent that this has occurred for, including my brother.
