I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Im not sure if you are on tonight.

I’m getting ready for nightshift. I’ve even been for a walk. As directed by one nurse.

I didn’t make it to work yesterday I just couldn’t face it. I was in a really bad place. I just had a me day. I didn’t have it in me to go to breakfast on my own though.

I do feel a little better today for it!

I'm glad you made the decision not to go work when you feel you really couldn't do it. I trust your judgement.

Will you be speaking to your boss today about having a different task to do at work?

@Captain24 there is nothing wrong with having "me" days, we all deserve them at times. It takes a lot of strength to have days off sometimes and acknowledge that we just need that time to ourselves.
