Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

So after an amazing sleep last night I have woken up with an almost positive mind set. I feel like I can take on the world.

I can see the light at the end and I have hope. Today I feel like I can get through this. I feel the strength I have gained and I feel like I have grown so much.

I do know that there is still a long way to go and I will have ups and downs in my journey to that light but I have hope.

I still have so much to learn as I don’t know the signs yet of a hypo mood or the low mood or what the triggers are.

The focus is on now and right at this moment I feel fantastic!

Maybe I can do this!

Smiled while I read this @Captain24 🙂

you’ve found the light IN the tunnel… and it will guide you through whatever it is that will come before you on this journey.

Thanks @Peregrinefalcon and @Bow .

I like the light in the tunnel it’s more accurate.

I was concerned that it was just an elevated mood but that buzz never came nor did any of the other symptoms and I’m still feeling really great.

I just had to say goodbye to my biggest supporter in town as she is moving away. I do feel apprehensive about her going but I feel as though I’ve got this. She is only a phone call away or a 4 hr drive. Plus going to visit means a free holiday at the beach!!

Instead of seeing the negative I can actually find the positive.

You can steal the light in the tunnel @Captain24! My old pastors still quote me on it often when they speak!

thats difficult having to say goodbye to your biggest support…. I know that feeling. But am glad that you are able to see the positive in it! Such a shift for you.

Re: I can’t cope

I woke up still feeling really good but now I’m feeling a little flat but just hoping it’s because I’m exhausted.

I set myself a job list for the weekend and I’ve managed to do it all. Including mowing the lawn which takes 2.5 hrs and weeding the garden. It’s been a massive weekend. I am super proud of what I have achieved and how I have felt.

Hope anyone reading has had a good day

Thanks @Shaz51

There’s isn’t really much I enjoy other than walking the dog. But now that I am in isolation for 7 days I can’t even do that! I will have to try and find something.
