Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Hugs @Captain24 .

I'm here.

Did you manage to sort things out after your holiday?

Hi @tyme

I’m not ok and I’m scared to go to work tomorrow. I don’t want to go. But I know I have too. My nurse rang me just before 5 and I cried on the phone to her. I haven’t done that before. She wanted me to come to hospital but I promised her I would email her in the morning.

Sorry to be like this still.

How did you find the light @tyme

Re: I can’t cope

It just happened... i didn't even know it was happening.

But I remember being discharged from a service. I nearly crumbled. Yet this was the turning point in my recovery. I had all those years of therapy. It was now my turn to stand on my own two feet.

I had to trust myself. Let myself fall and tell myself it's okay.

Recovery is a battle and an active process. It is not able sitting back and waiting for recovery to come. It was about going against the tide - the harshest of situations, and being let go by others to learn to stand on my own two feet.

It was TOUGH.

Thanks. @tyme.

I am trying and not sitting and waiting. But I keep ending up in this space. My nurse said it was my condition and not me. I just don’t know how to change it. The constant fight is exhausting.

Re: I can’t cope

I’m tired @tyme. I’ve taken extra meds so I’m going to bed. I hope you have a restful night and a good day tomorrow.

Thank you

Sorry
