I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Hey @Captain24 - yes it WILL be hard. I'm not going to lie.

But remember, your job keeps you well. Use that. I hear it is so very very hard at this time, but perhaps work will give you some reprieve from all the sadness?

I had to call them Tuesday night @tyme I can’t do it again.

I am slowly processing it and I saw my nurse today and she saw me cry for the first time. She told me to focus on the good memories not the last memory. I am trying. I have heaps of them and I’m trying to ‘park’ them in front but it doesn’t always work.

I am hoping tomorrow is a huge distraction. The meeting will be hard and so will my shift as I haven’t had much sleep. When I close my eyes I see her final moments
