Something’s not right

I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

I love cutting up mushrooms! @MissGremlin there is something soothing about it.

I never thought of that. I desperately need to get the picture rails put through my house. So I can hang my other ones! The bathroom is floor to ceiling tiles so that won’t work but the main toilet would.

Please do. I just need so much more time in my days. I never thought that would happen! I’ve sadly close the door and blinds.

I’ve been listening to my music today and there was a song that resonated with me. ‘This is me’ I think it’s from the greatest showman. It felt good.

How is your diamond art going that you do in bed?

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 must admit they are satisfying to cut up, have you ever peeled the skin off them?

You'll have your whole house covered in diamond art! I can't even put anything up in my house, there's about 8 hooks through the whole house and most of them are broken.

Just think you'll be able to open the house up again tomorrow. It honestly makes me so happy to hear that you're actually enjoying your days.

I love that song, I've had music on most of the day but wasn't focused on it.

It's getting there, I have 2½ sections to go. I couldn't finish the one I started last night.

Ohh yes!! The peeling is amazing! @MissGremlin

Mum asked me the other day if she won enough on lotto to give me a couple of million would I build a new house. I always said no but I’ve now changed my mind! 5 bedrooms. 2 spare rooms for guests, my ironing room and a room full of Lego! Plus a large study with a double wardrobe of just shelves. A bench all the way around the rest of the room at desk height. I could have everything going at once! Mosaic in one space, Lego in another, 3D puzzle, resin and of course diamond art. There would need to be shelves around the room as well. Plenty of storage for all my stuff!! Sounds good hey! Plus it would have picture rails in every room and down the hall!

I will open it all up after we get back from the walk! I am absolutely loving my days off. I feel happy, content, calm, safe, relaxed and just chilled. It is so weird and sometimes uncomfortable. Right now I can’t wait to wake up in morning to do it all again. I just need to figure out how to do it for work.

OH so close! I can’t wait to see it! You won’t be seeing this one for a long time!!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 hehe we are satisfied by the strangest things. Like the diamond art squares clicking into place when they're surrounded by others 😂.

Ooohhh I love it, I'm reserving one of those guest rooms so I can come and do diamond art with you 😂. I've always wanted to have both a Lego room and a craft room!

Absolutely love hearing this, it's a complete shift and it makes me so happy for you. All the hard work you've been putting in is really paying off, you'll get there with the work days sweet.

I've been so focused on getting the custom one done that the other just took a back seat, by the time I was going to bed i didn't have it in me to do more diamond art. Haha lucky I'm patient 😂

Re: I can’t cope

The squares are amazing aren’t they. So much better than the round ones especially when it’s the last in the square! Doing this reminded me how much I prefer square! @MissGremlin

That would be awesome. But if I make a big enough laundry it could be a third bedroom or more Lego! 😜 Definitely plenty of room to diamond art together! Even on the large 8-10 seat dining table!

Ot has paid off and it’s nice to see it was worth it. While I had so much support it had to come from me and from within. Let me tell you though, it’s hard work to stay here and not let things make me fall. I’m getting better at this self talk thing, talking myself around. I NEVER thought that that would happen.

That’s far. We do do a lot of it. I haven’t stopped since I got home from up there street. I have to bath the dogs tomorrow and duck out again. I forgot needles and they didn’t have one of my meds so I’ve got to go and pick it up. Other than that it’s just whatever I want to do.

Do you have plans tomorrow or can we meet up? I should hopefully be all done by around 11:00

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I've actually brought the square version of the ones with the sparkly gems, another reason I like them is that they have both square and round dot to choose from. Maybe you've converted me 😂.

Haha definitely more Lego! Plenty of room for us both 😂. My dining table that I have actually extends but I only have 2 computer chairs at it as it never gets used for food other than for me lol.

The support helps but it still has to come from us, if we don't make the choice to change then things never will. I know it's hard work to stay there but you're doing amazing and over time it will get easier.

We do alot of it but I enjoy it. I'd love to meet up for some diamond art tomorrow. I'll have someone here to look at my car and do some yard work so will just have to work around that.

Re: I can’t cope

The squares are way better! I’m glad you gave it a go and then liked them @MissGremlin Its good you stood out of your comfort zone.

My dining table is a four seater and only gets used if mum and dad are here for dinner or if other family come. Plus Christmas. So it’s always covered in some sort of craft stuff. The only time it’s clear is if o need it for others! Dad came around one day and I had resin drying, diamond art in my table and a 3D puzzle going on my kitchen island. He said that I have lots of stuff to do. All they do is sit around and watch tv or read other than their walks.

It is a mindset thing. It took me a long time! Apparently it gets easier and just natural but while it’s new it’s harder. I have homework to do for my psych. I may do that Saturday and it’s all about how you feel in each section so that way I can notice if I’m starting to slip. It’s like warning signs kind of. Little ones first then the bottom step is the severe ones.

Im loving doing this one!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 the squares allow for more detail. I still do like the round ones though aswell.

Haha my table always has many craft things going at once plus my old computer is on it that I don't use. I don't have anyone over anymore. Even when I have the TV on I'm still usually doing something at the same time 😂.

The homework sounds interesting, I'm sure there will be some tougher feelings coming up as you'll be getting ready to go back to work.

I'm glad you're doing one you like. I can't wait to start another one after the one I've been doing at night.

I'll be back a bit after sweet, need to do my bedtime routine and what's happening here is completely overwhelming me (I'm safe).

Re: I can’t cope

It’s actually an easier one than I thought so far. It’s really random colours but I’m trying to trust the process. I do have to contact them about the white dog though. She is purple! But my white rabbit is white so I don’t know what went wrong. @MissGremlin

Iy is interesting. I already understand it as we didn’t as an inpatient with her. So I understand the process of the steps. But I can see them very differently now to back then. It’ll be interesting. She will add to it in our appointment though.

I can imagine! It could be chaos. I’ll see you when I see you.

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 definitely trust the process and hopefully it turns out. That's really odd, maybe something went wrong, hoping that can get it changed for you.

It's good that you know what to do having done it before already.

Why does bedtime always mean drama 😂. Honestly if anything is going to happen it's always at bedtime, it's meant to be quiet time 😂. Crazy chaos that's for sure!
