I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

@Captain24 sounds like a relatively easy day tomorrow. The sun time is definitely a good idea.

I'm glad you've had some reset. It's a shame that you can't have another block, you'll just have to make the most of the time that you do have off in between shifts.

And @MissGremlin, I know today has felt very vulnerable, but to be able to pause, notice, and implement a safety plan is no small thing. I am so glad you are safe and I am so glad we can all be here for you. 🥰

@AuntGlow I might have noticed it but that's about it. I honestly have no fight left in me and my safety plan is non existent. I just want to give up and let whatever happens, happen. I'm safe for now, doing my bedtime routine.

Doing your bedtime routine sounds really positive and is absolutely a safety plan.

It's so important that you are able to talk with a helpline or crisis line, especially when you are feeling this way. We want to know that you are as supported as possible tonight, okay?

@AuntGlow I'm not up for trying to talk to a crisis line. The risk of them making things worse is really not something I'm prepared to take right now.

I've just sat in bed and I'm going to see if I can do my diamond art with captain for a bit.
