I can’t cope

I hope you can get up to get some pain relief. I’ve been up a few times! I struggle to lay in bed when I’m awake and not tired.

It’s freezing in the ensuite so I’d need the heat lamps. Could be a bit risky. Maybe I could clean the shower on Tuesday when I wash my hair again. I did only clean it last week but I want to do it all the time to keep it clean!

Ive got to get the dogs off the bed to change the linen! Jett might bite me again!

I get restless laying down constantly but there's not much I can do until the house is awake. I've also got Casper laying across me so it's not exactly easy to move.

Maybe leaving it till Tuesday is a good idea, you could give it a wipe down today but without the bleach? I can't use bleach in my house except for the toilet cleaners that have it in them, the smell is far too much for me and I have the fear of it from childhood trauma.

Could you entice him off with a little treat? Though I know that's probably hard cos then Pix would want something.

Ive showered and washed my hair and have my Oodie lounge set in and feel toasty and warm! I need to get a second set!

I understand that you can’t make noise. That’s the best thing about living alone! I can do what I want when I want. It’s also hard to disturb the dogs!

Jett just got up and now if I pick Pix up she will growl at me! She pretends to bite but doesn’t usually. If she does it’s a complete accident. But she is just going to have to move! one less thing I have to do later!

That must be tough. What do you use to clean? I use CLR on the shower screen and shower power for the rest of the shower.

It only takes 10 minutes so I’ll just do it Tuesday. It’ll be warmer by the time I get there.

You did so well to have a shower. The oodie sets look so nice and cosy, definitely reckon get a second set especially with the cold weather you get there.

It's hard when others are light sleepers so any noise could wake them up but yet they can sleep through fireworks going off right near us 😂.

At least Jett moved, hopefully Pix will cooperate and move without being snappy 😂.

I use pine-o-clean and also a eucalyptus spray.

Doing it on Tuesday when it's warmer sounds like a good idea.

I love my set it’s so comfy. Ok have to save and try and get another one. As it gets colder I can put my pyjamas under it. No being cold this winter!

I’m a heavy sleeper. Most things don’t wake me up, including severe storms. I’ll say to mum that storm must have been bad last night, it actually woke me up. We had a storm one night when I was working in retail. I was sound asleep and my phone rang, it was like 3:30 in the morning or something. The security company said the shatter alarm had gone off in one of the windows and I had to go down. As I was driving down there there was a massive clap of thunder. It nearly shook the car. Turns out it was just the storm had rattled the windows. The security guy couldn’t believe I was sleeping through it! 😂

Does pine o clean remove the mould and keep it away? What eucalyptus spray? Just looking for different things that I could try.

I think it's getting close to the time I need to break out my tweety oodie, but I get hot quickly so it doesn't get worn for long. I saw a cute pair is stitch pjs the other day but they were thick fluff and I was like nope, I'd overheat soon after I put them on 😂.

I sleep through storms but that's cos I find the sounds relaxing. Lucky you didn't sleep through your phone ringing! Glad it was only the thunder that had rattled the windows though.

I don't have many issues with mould so it must be working 😂. Here's the eucalyptus spray that I use, there's also a bathroom version but I just get the multi-purpose one.

YOU HAVE A TWEETY OODIE???? I want one!!!!! @MissGremlin. I don’t over heat easily. I could wear this if it was 20 degrees but under 15 will be fine. When it gets really cold I struggle to get anything to keep me warm and I think I might have found the thing that will!!!

It was lucky that that’s all it was. Muffin break were in there baking and I asked them if they had seen anyone. Bug I had forgotten to take my keys with me so when I rang security back they said we didn’t need to enter which was good otherwise I would have had to go home and get the keys and disturb Honey again! It was only a 5 minute drive.

I’ll wait for the pic to load and then I’ll have a look and see. I have a couple of bottles of shower power still. Does it keep your screens clean?

@Captain24 haha indeed I do, they are still available on the website too! Obviously not me in the pic, it's from the oodie site 😂. Even with it being 8⁰ here I'm laying with no covers on me.

Definitely lucky it's all it was and that they didn't need to enter. At least you were close if you needed to.

I only have one screen and then a curtain but it seems to work ok on the glass. Mines not even a proper shower screen, dodgy bits in this house 😂. I just don't like harsh chemicals but that's mostly due to my fears from trauma.

I set my air con to 16 degrees so I can sleep under my doona and with the dogs body heat. I do get cold if I don’t have them though. There is no way I wouldn’t have the covers on. I don’t sleep in pj’s so that makes it colder.

I got Pix off the bed. I just cuddled her and put her on a bed in the lounge room where she has stayed. Neither of them like mornings!

That’s fair about the chemicals, some people just don’t like them. I’m finding doing the clr regularly is keeping my shower screen cleaner but I have a proper one. I wish you could see my house. I love it. Actually I have photos that I posted a while back. I’m might go through my phone and find them. They are not on social media anywhere and can’t be found. Maybe this afternoon I’ll go through them.

I’ve changed my bedlinen and now I have to dry my hair while the sheets and clothes finish washing! The sun is coming up so at least I’ll be able to hang the washing out.

I don't have any aircon on during the cooler months. I don't sleep with pjs on either 😂.

Haha awww at least you were able to move her. In fairness i don't like mornings either.

I'd love to see photos of what you can share without anything being identifiable obviously. My house isn't anything fancy, it's an old house built in the early 70's and it needs alot of work which is why it's ridiculous that they are charging $475 a week for rent!
