She’s 3 so I need to do my best to stay around for her. @tyme I do know that she would be well looked after though.

You know my main problem with having a dog? I couldn't bear losing it. The attachment would be too great. I am such a softly when it comes to animals. I treat them like humans. When the weather is cold, I do everything to keep them warm. When it's hot, I do everything to keep them cool....just like a human. I spend all day worrying about pets.

Have you tried 'talking' to Pix to help you feel better? I know things are very hard for you at the moment.

I have ducted air con so I have it set for Pix so the house is warm or cool for when my parents drop her off! They babysit while I’m at work! I treat her like my child. I’m terrible with pets I once had a pet rabbit and he lived inside and used a litter tray!

I tell her that I love her all the time to try and help me feel better but I don’t actually say what is going through my head. I think she can tell how much I’m suffering though as she has been really clingy.

Ohhh! She gets babysat while you are at work! @Captain24 - we have doggy daycares here. The dogs go to daycare then their owners pick them up in the afternoon.

As for Pix knowing and feeling what's happening, I reckon she knows too. Maybe you can talk to her about it? Confiding in her might be a release for you. Let her know you are hurting. Let her know you are down. But also let her know she is your protective factor.

I seen the power of therapy dogs. I've seen the power of horses. It is incredible.

For dinner, I'm having leftovers @Captain24 . I decided on paella, went to the fridge, and found a stuffed mushroom and stuffed gnocchi which my sister dropped off yesterday. So I'm having that 🙂

Does Pixie eat much? I mean, does she leave her food if she doesn't want any more?
