How do you balance treatment and a full-time job?
I like the new look of the website. The colours are a little weird, how when you click on something it turns purple, but it's not bad!
I haven't seen my doctor for about two and a half months.
I had to cancel my last appointment because of work and then minutes later, I got a missed call. That scared the HELL out of me, because they're basically impossible to call back, and I thought she was concerned for my welfare, enough to call the Police.
Turns out it was the receptionist, to let me know that my doctor wasn't working that day anyway.
I always feel bad about going there, considering I don't really have a medical issue, but then I realise I have suicidal thoughts, which is TECHNICALLY a matter of life and death?
I've done a lot of overtime, in just three months of being here.
My interim manager asked me to slow down, and look for signs of burnout. I asked him about burnout, and the first thing he said was "what do you do on your lunch break?" I usually go out for coffee, which is a good move.
I haven't spoken to my permanent manager about it. I'm going to take advantage of our free counselling. I'm assuming that we have time taken out for sessions, considering that's kind of the whole point LOL.
It is weird, though, that most therapy clinics are open 9:00AM - 5:00PM Monday to Friday.
Any advice?
