CEEELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!

CEEELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!

I had my first day at work today.

It was really enjoyable, and I got along well with my teammates. Two of my teammates met each other and started talking like they'd known each other for five years.

They're already recommending having drinks on Friday night and stuff like that. I can definitely see this as a safer environment than my last job, for sure.

I was technically on the ball, and I asked the right questions et cetera. I found out that they have a free counselling service, which includes face-to-face appointments. That WILL come in handy.

Walking home alone was pretty sad. I realised I didn't have anyone I could celebrate with. I didn't have anyone I can sit in a café with and talk about how my day went. People liked me, but lots of people have liked me, and it didn't go anywhere... it doesn't change overnight, I guess.

My town centre is a really depressing place to be if you're lonely 😂😭.

I know you guys are happy for me and celebrating with me, though. I appreciate it 😊.

I've been reading The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. It's a thing of beauty, and I recommend it.

The bad news is, I've got a sharp stabbing pain in my side. I had COVID-19 recently, so my imagination is saying that the infection spread to my spleen. I was dehydrated today, so maybe I got a kidney infection? I didn't think it's muscle pain.

If it's this bad tomorrow, I'll have to see a doctor. Can you imagine attending your second day of training from a hospital bed?

If I'm not in too much pain to fall asleep, goodnight, guys X.

The sharp stabbing pain of SUCCESS!!! That's what you're feeling. Nothing like a progress story. Oh so very pleased you let us know.

Really happy for you @florencefifty And here with you in the celebrations! 🎉👏
Take care of yourself & sounds like you've got yourself organised around the pain if it's lingering.
Hope day #2 goes well!
