Re: What or who am I?

Hi.

I'm new to this forum and I don't know how to start a conversation or put up a post.

Can anyone help me please ?

Re: What or who am I?

Yes of course @Stuck333 Hello & Welcome!!! 😊

If you choose the "topic" which you post might sit under first, which can be found under the latest discussions section of the main page.
Say you want to talk about your experience, you might feel that sits under the "Our stories" Section, so click in there.

Then you just need to find the green coloured "New Discussion" button up top of page (has a white speech bubble in it) & it will take you to a Message template where you can write into & then post live.

Hope this helps, but let us know if it doesn't.
Also if you want to 'tag' in members like I did to you in this post you need to just type @ then add the member name.

@Former-Member

Thank you so much for your fast reply.

I was able to put a post up but I'm not sure if I put it in the right place. I'm not even sure where I posted it. ( Sorry this is my first ever forum )

I'm looking to discuss the emotional and verbal abuse I have endured and looking to have a conversation about moving on.

Can you suggest a relevant place for this kind of post?

Re: What or who am I?

Sure, thing @Stuck333 - I know first hand this forum takes some time to get used to.
Well there are a number of "topics" that help members choose where there post might go.
Would "looking after ourselves" or "Our stories" make some connection with what you're wanting to write?

@At the moment I'm a bit confused with it all.

Where do I find those topics?

Could you possibly add a pic ?

Thank you for helping me 😊

Re: What or who am I?

Hey @MDT

Can I suggest some light reading about the life of the great "Charles Bukowski'? Have you ever heard of the guy?

Re: What or who am I?

Hi Hans.

Been there myself in my own struggle to find my own identity I guess. In my own journey I focused on my own values and what is important to me. I also read through The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. But it wasn't until I started to face what has happened in my life and addressed how my past had made me feel and how that had impacted me in counselling, that I started to shift my perspective and understand who I really am.
