Stress

Stress

Stressing out right now. I am not sure if some of you know about technical issues or computers. But the program/app I usually write music on went back into trial mode due to an update and the company who own and create it have an old email address on their system that I currently cannot access. I have been sorting it out by getting in touch with both them and the email service. But atm I can't write music or save any projects, which is really frustrating. This dug up anxiety, stress and sense of uneasiness. Music means a lot to me. But I have also been undergoing some mild writer's block as a result of my mood and physical well being. Not being able to be motivated and creative is paralyzing. Atm I have done all I could do to solve this. Now I wait til they all get back to me.

Anyway, I did the right thing and made myself a chamomile tea. I also took a moment and did a lot of deep breathing. I am still on edge. But it's not as bad as it was. It's funny how something that means a lot to you goes wrong and causes all these feelings. Sometimes it's trivial and it makes you think you shouldn't overthink. Yet, these feelings can be so normal.

Re: Stress

A friend of mine has a problem with Sibelius that he paid a lot of good money for. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Take Care @TheJuZShoW

Re: Stress

Hmmm. Maybe, while you're sorting out the admin glitch. You could explore up and down the production pipeline. Like, moving back by doing samples or moving forwards into support graphics or something. As a thought.

I was looking into Audacity the other day. It looked like maybe be an interesting mid-to-late pipeline sort of program. I'm looking forward to using it one of these days.

Re: Stress

Oh, that sounds extremely frustrating @TheJuZShoW

I really hope you can sort it out soon. Well done for drinking some camomile tea…that’s usually my go”to tea in times of crisis too.

Im sure your creativity will return soon. You sound very talented.

@wellwellwellnez I use Audacity for vocal collaborations 🙂

That makes a lot of sense (from what I can tell (with my limited understanding)) @TheJuZShoW . Making me a bit excited about the possibilities, actually.

@wellwellwellnez There are alot of possibilities if you put your mind to it 🙂

Re: Stress

Maybe use it as an opportunity to learn something new. Getting outside and going for a walk in nature can help with writing and thought processes, look at some new music gear to buy, or do some recording of samples. Anything that gets you over the problem til they fix it. I wish chamomile tea worked for me. Sometimes small problems can upset more sensitive people, i often stress about things that really don't matter. Usually the best thing is to get some sleep and remind myself to chill out because hopefully i'll feel better tomorrow.
