Fear and regret
I have it bubbling away...
Its not nice and I feel physically sick from it.

No, It's not nice @MDT
Are you being kind to yourself? Are you allowing yourself permission to make mistakes? What are the expectations you have set for yourself? I would love to hear that last one, What expectations have you set for feb, and for the year?
Do you have any goals along with your recent life changes? Have you spent time breaking them down into tasks and putting down celebrations for when you reach them?
I know it's always darkest before the dawn mate. but i am in here in the darkness with you, waiting for the sunrise.

Mate, you only know what you know and there is a reason why we have eyes in the front of our head, it is because looking backwards leads us to fall over ourselves. I watch a youtube channel called Charisma on command and even though i am awkward, it gives me tips on how to work on that stuff. 28 is old enough to have knowledge but not old enough to have the wisdom to use that knowledge effectively. You say you have the knowledge that you should have tried harder when you were younger but I am not hearing the wisdom of how to use that knowledge to empower your life now. Everyone wishes they could be Warren Buffet and invested when they are 11. I am in my 40's and starting now. I don't want to be a warren buffet, i simply just want to be happy with who I am and what I am. When I make an investing mistake, i laugh at it because it is part of learning. When you are hitting on a chick you like and it does not go wrong, have an emotion ready to call on that allows you to move on.
What accent does it for you? Irish accents are the bomb for me.
