2022

2022

This year will be different to last

I have some plans in the making and a lot will happen and change.

I nearly had a panic attack tonight but avoided it entirely by thinking through what needed to be done in the immediate future. So I did exactly what I knew I needed to. And left it there.

I also fixed my mattress for a temp fix before I get the new one.

There's always so much on my mind. So much I want and need.

But I know the strides I made last year will push me forward.

Just need to set a routine and be stringent. But also not hard on myself.

Its hard for me socially atm so I take what I can.

Dating - I have no idea and to be honest I'm okay with that. I have some apps but I will ween myself away from it. I'm open minded enough. Thatll do for now.

Now it's bed time.

Talk tomorrow

Re: 2022

okay @MDT I'm alone 90% of time , lonely is another matter, can be alone in a crowd I guess

Re: 2022

Yeah its true @TAB

Plus I think I'm over stimulated by social media and apps for dating.

Re: 2022

yes , less screen time good idea , or take a break for while, just becomes self defeating esp if stay on there too long , take few months off, get new pics, make new profile or just go join clubs etc @MDT

Re: 2022

Sounds like you're making progress @MDT. I hope you continue to have a better year! Sometimes it's good to take a break from some activities for a while and just focus on you, your mental well-being, and your own life improvements for a while. Good luck!

Re: 2022

Its funny how many people use the same photos over and over again tabs @TAB

I think maybe people's use of dating apps is way to counteract loneliness and a lack of intimacy. It's skewed.

I digress.

I think I'll just hit pause. For now while I figure out rent (because lots of places look dodgy at my budget unless I spend over half my income per week) , whether I can get a new role as well in Sydney (more in line with my skills and goals) and yeah just generally social life.

Will hopefully meet with my friend I've been out with 2 times already. We can talk about the next level in person is better.

Less open to interpretation too.

Just havinf croissant and coffee atm

Things have been worse

Re: 2022

talking 'next level' can be a way of scaring people off @MDT just go with the flow maybe. Whats wrong with job you have ? you have like 2 years in workforce and on 80k ish ? plus working from home etc

In response to: Re: 2022

Re: 2022

nah not 80k lol @TAB I wish

Just in terms of what I am doing - brain drain and not stimulating enough. But working on what comes next is more what i meant

We've had a few chats before re "next level". Nothing out of the ordinary. It's just that people can be non commited in the early days and it can be a disaster - all along you think you had something and it turns out they've been seeing others. "Leading on" etc. That's more what i was getting at.

Re: 2022

okay thought you said level 5 ok was other job and .6

yes re seeing others, needs to be stated not assumed, and deal with it then @MDT off to woolies for cheap hotglue gun to try and re attach edge of headliner in car , clowns who replaced windscreen years ago stuffed it and its got really bad lately, bothering me. tried blue tack lol lasted about 5 mins then googled ha
