Starting to struggle

Starting to struggle

I was doing so well, my moods where manageable and now I feel like I'm losing control my anxiety is bad my flashbacks are more present, family are causing lots of stress and controlling me I don't know what to do, it all feels really to overwhelming.

I feel like my whole world is falling apart, my stress levels are high, my moods are always fluctuating, I have random anger outbursts, I'm isolating myself from nearly everyone.

My dad hasn't even really contacted me, I'm really upset, I feel like he doesn't care or even wants to give me a call to see how I am. His wife is really controlling and she tends to judge me. They want me to go to Christmas with them and I don't even want to see them.

I find this time of year is triggering.

Am safe

Re: Starting to struggle

@Fluttershy1 I'm sorry it is so hard for you at the moment. I totally get wanting to run and hide. It is so hard sometimes just to keep going.

Losing someone is so hard. The funeral gives some closure but it doesn't make it any easier.

Around for a bit if you need to chat or someone just to be there for you 💜

@tyme @Snowie - was just snuggling with the buns, I’m trying to look after myself but it’s hard. I am safe though

Re: Starting to struggle

Thanks @Snowie -

I wanna curl up in a ball and cry. I feel not myself

Re: Starting to struggle

@Fluttershy1 Sometimes a good cry helps me. It lets me release some of my pent up emotions.

Is there something you can do to try and distract yourself? I am glad you are safe however.

Have you got anything happening tomorrow?

Re: Starting to struggle

@Snowie - debating on wether to go for a drive tomorrow to get out of the house or just have another lazy day and just snooze.

I’ve just been hanging out with my buns, they are very cute and snuggly.

Re: Starting to struggle

@Fluttershy1 a drive tomorrow sounds nice, but snuggling up at home sounds great too. I don't mind a day on the couch either.

Glad your Buns are cute and snuggly.

Not sure what I wanna do yet @Snowie - I just wanna hide. My emotions are driving me crazy. I don’t know how I feel

Re: Starting to struggle

Thats understandable @Fluttershy1

Sometimes just getting through the next hour is enough.

I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight.

Re: Starting to struggle

Does anything tend to help @Fluttershy1?

I find a cup of herbal tea before I go to bed sometimes helps. At least it helps me relax a little.

I take sleeping meds too so that helps.
