Life

I believe that all humans deep down just wants that connection with another human

as my grandmother used to say - start as you mean to go on

i never met her but she must've been a wise woman

my grandad on my other side of the family used to say to grab my maths homework by the neck and make it work for me - but i believe it can also be applied to life. He is 92

I now seek to make every interaction I have with any human regardless of anything - to make it the best it possibly can be. Today I had some breakfast out before my work day and the waitress said she forgot to bring the water and apologised and joked that it made her the worst waitress ever. I said I was the worst customer ever because I didn't even notice haha.

Tonight I hope to dream again and have some experiences in that realm that answer questions and ground me. Finding hearth

Re: Life

This was a lovely post to read @MDT

And such a nice thought to have with the waitress as often we take all this tiny interactions and do not notice them. I find that here in the local shops, everyone just goes about their own business and does not take notice of anyone else. I would love if we could adopt your approach and be real again to other people.

@LookingHopeful
It comes from working through my shyness as a young adult.
Also having social anxiety.
I guess by working through it I got to this point.
But mostly due to the fact that there's a lot of fakery in the world.
Far better to inject genuine things into it.
Even just calling random people sir or ma'am can be a way "to get back at the man" so to speak. To break monotony

Love that you are putting some genuine feeling/thought into routine encounters. @MDT It lightens up things for everyone when we can do it, paying it forward ...
