Yes I do want a response from the worry room walk away without a response needed...............

Yes I do want a response from the worry room walk away without a response needed...............

There seems to be confusion...misunderstanding...

not sure how else to politely describe the dilemma..

This here is a place where someone knows that you are comfortable in receiving a response...

As opposed to the worry room walk away without a response needed...

It is so very very hard to let go of overwhelming feelings...emotions...'

blech...

whatever it feels like for you..

It is way harder than people can imagine to allow ourselves to voice these feelings...

It is very important that others know whether or not we do want a response..

Safety reasons will require a response via email as per terms and conditions of forums..

I believe that we all have the the right to choose when and where anyone responds to our outcry in words..

I feel this for myself..

If no response is labelled in the thread...it is compassionate to follow this..

There will always be supported comments from those also suffering and understanding..'

Others can respond here...

Just a thought...

This is how I want to be treated...when a title states

WITHOUT RESPONSE

Of course...I do realise that yet once again I have put myself in a vicarious situation where there will be judgement..

Tis life....

the sake of all on here..

Hello @Sophia1

Thank you very much for sharing.

I decided to trust myself and just write and let everything come out.

It helped to remind me that I have my own issues with boundaries and that is why I react so sensitively.

It helped me to see that I need to look after myself and not take personally what other people are doing. Whatever other people are doing isn't about me.

I think that you express yourself very well @Arizona

The post where you wrote about how you have kept the mental health side of your life quiet and not shared with others...reminded me so much of me..

I did not once share the fact that I had any struggle with mental health..whilst working.

The stigma was rife then and still although there is some improvement...has a long way to go..

Even within my life now....only some people I have met through carers know...

None of my husband's family have a clue..

In social circles...family environments where there is strong support..some people have found themselves able to share...

I had no support within my family circles...quite the opposite...it was not spoken about.

We definitely have to set our own boundaries..

I am a very private person ....as well as extremely sensitive (only aware of this fact in last ten years)..

I think very deeply which many people feel uncomfortable with ....

I also prefer one to one conversations rather than group talk..

Our personalities along with our symptoms can all be different also adding to misunderstanding at times..

I hope that you are feeling a little calmer within yourself and definitely....no self blame ..

You mentioned reacting sensitively....That is not something to apologise or worry about...

It is a beautiful quality of who you are.....so I have been told and learnt the hard way ..

I hope that you can learn this to....accept this part of you as being beautiful....you care about others.,..
