Self harm

Self harm

I feel like my thoughts are out of control they are around SH, am safe but am struggling with the thoughts I have been so stressed the thoughts are just coming back. I don't want to have my addiction to SH again. I want to stay clean.

Re: Self harm

@Fluttershy1 I hear you, it can be a tough feeling to shake. At the end of the day, the only person who gets to decide if you are failing or not is you. And well, we all fail and we all make mistakes. This does not mean YOU are a failure.

@Fluttershy1 @Jynx

Please don't leave @Fluttershy1

When it feels like everything is hard we have challenges in our lives it can feel like there is no hope. From what I can gather with @Jynx saying is that we stumble from time to time. When we stumble and are challenged we learn from it. Sometimes what we learn is small but can be invaluable.

I know in the past you have done things to help you learn to get through your challenges for the day. For example wrap yourself up in a blanket, play Xbox, cuddle your pet, watch a movie. Sometimes the best way to get through a challenge is to sit and do nothing and be able to reflect on your day. Sometimes just drinking water helps smooth things.

What can you think of doing that doesn't take much and can help you relax?

From all your time on the forums you have shown strength during challenging and difficult times by reaching out to all of us to provide you support. That won't stop. We will always support you in our own way.

Please keep on the forums to have support for yourself.
