Hi @Princessmolly 🌷💜
It's been a busy day ... took me a while to get back around to responding .... it's earlier over here in the west, so you might be asleep by now ...
I'm getting there ... a few months ago we had events stacked up in a long row, and little by little we are making our way through them in baby steps ... 🐾 .... it's all you can do really - sketch in ahead, but then just take each day as it comes ....
My D3 is working towards graduating high school, just ahead of D1 getting married ....
Its been a really big year, but that's good in a weird sense ... it's been so busy there's not too much time to dwell on things ... 😏

Re: Book club
Hi @Princessmolly, thanks for starting this thread... what a great idea. I've been reading "Girl in the Woods" by Aspen Matis. It's a true account of a young woman hiking two thousand miles from Mexico to Canada. It's a pretty amazing tale of personal transformation.... I could really relate to much of the book because I love hiking and I think that maybe it would be my dream to undertake a hike like that one day.
I've come to the realization lately that I need a few dreams to keep me from stagnating. Ever since we moved into our new house I've been feeling stuck. I don't know what it is. I thought I would feel really comfy and settled, but I just feel like I am going nowhere, for some reason.
I love books and I average reading about 50 books per year. I find reading very addictive. I just recently re-read "Jane Eyre" and I loved that too.

Re: Book club
Hi @Bubbles3 .... I haven’t been right back across this thread to see whether I know any of the books. I can see that I last posted here in Sept. last year.
I haven’t read the one you have suggested either, but I was happy to see you making your way around to other interest threads. Do you enjoy reading, or is it more about when you’re looking for information ?

Re: Book club
I am reading The Dry by Jane Harper. Started off great but started to sag in the middle. Hoping it will pick up. Apparently they are turning it into a movie.
