What books are you currently reading that you find interesting? I havent read anything but parenting books and self help books for two years lol. The last "book" and i use that term loosley was 50 shades of gray 😂😂😂thinking of trying to get through a book a fortnight. Have a kindle so access isnt an issue.

Re: Book club

Is'nt tha weird @Faith-and-Hope

My therapist with my husband us getting us to read Bene Brown and saw someone posting Bene Brown here too.

I love reading 'Clan Of the Cave Bear,' Did you know that Jean Auel did so much research for Clan of the Cave Bear she is revered and admired by how much she did. People try and copy her type of studying and research. My historian has lent me a book of hers, the second one that I haven't read for years.

SHe is actually my Mum's friend and she wants to make sure that the book I'm writing is as thorough as possibe. I have not done any writing on the book for about two months but occasionally, I scribble down notes........

We are like. lapping up the Sane Forums goodness @Faith-and-Hope......

Re: Book club

Hi @Bubbles3 for some reason I like mystery, horror and thrillers the best. Maybe I am seeking a sense of justice I never felt I got myself. I also don't mind some romance and sci fi when the mood strikes me. What do you like to read?

Re: Book club

I like historical fiction best @CompulsiveWalke, although Marcelle Binchy is another favourite author ..... like a spicier version of Jane Austin novels and their rambling storytelling that suddenly ties off all the knots.

hi @CompulsiveWalke

i like reading the same as you but a few years back i use to read all the storys that some poor kids go through in life, some can be triggering , but now im onto horror and thrillers .
