So I took part in Topic Tuesday this evening on Physical Activity for Mental Health. I feel motivated so I am going to give up my couch potato ways and start to make an effort to get outside to walk for exercise. I am hoping that I will improve my mental health whilst losing weight and increasing fitness. I am going to keep you updated about my progress here. Feel free to join in - the more the merrier! Maybe we can help motivate each other.

Re: Walking for Wellness
Maybe you could try a 10 minute walk on the between days just to build the routine @TAB .
I'm just heading off now while it's sunny

Re: Walking for Wellness
Yeah its 12mins to shops via creek @Dimity then 12 mins back after wandering around supermarket. Could at least do that every second day. I remember doing 1hr around lake and going to gym straight after. Ok 7 years ago but nothing to say I cant be doing that again ok in a month or so's time

Re: Walking for Wellness
It sounds like the walk to the shops is manageable @TAB . Maybe you could get a shopping jeep for any bigger loads. Then slowly build up to the long walk and gym.
