Share a cuppa?
I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Exactly @Captain24 ! It doesn't mean you have to wish it away. Just don't choose or pick it up!
Russ Harris has also other very simple and effective clips he has developed e.g. about anxiety, about stress, about happiness.
Happy to hear what you think - only if you are interested.

Hi @Steven78
I’m sorry you feel that way. I feel like I have made a few connections on here that I wouldn’t be able to make in the outside world. I feel as though the friends I’ve made on here accept me for who I am with out judgement and with understanding.

I hear you @Steven78 . I used to think the same. But you know what? I used these forums as a 'practice' ground for real world conversations and interactions.
For example, if someone asks you how you are in the real world, honestly, at this point, how would you answer? Would you general gist of it be the same and what you'd type on the forums?
Anyway, these forums are anonymous, so you can also practice making mistakes and getting up again.
Remember @Steven78 , this is a START. It doesn't mean the rest of your life will be text based and online.
Soooo... do you have any plans for tomorrow?
Waiting to hear from you, tyme

It's true what you have written @Steven78 . Written text has its own weakness (and strengths).
I read your messages, I feel I am getting to know you better. Doesn't mean I know everything, but it's a start.
Hence, it would be good to know the things you ARE interested in (only if you want to of course). Ultimately, the call is yours.
I'm here to listen and converse if you give me the chance.

Yes, I do believe it is up to others if they want to talk or not @Steven78 . Getting to know someone often begins with the not-so-interesting small talk. If you can bear that, you may gradually find people to converse with!
I was a loner in the past. I withdrew from the world. These forums helped me to connect with people. It taught me what was okay to say and what was not ok to say. It also allowed me to re-read my posts to realise how I could improve.
Now? People are ALWAYS talking to me. If anything, I run away from people so I can have some time for myself!
Be kind to yourself and give connection a go. It's waiting for you to grasp it.
