Hi @tonys, thanks for your reply.
@tonys wrote:i lost one of my cows 2 nights back. late nights, hours on phone, mud, blood, rain, sorrow and loss.
I'm sorry to hear 😞 I agree, if the assistant had been honest with you, you could've looked elsewhere for help!
It's sad to think of the cow that might've been helped, and you digging a midnight grave in the rain 😞

Oh, thank you - I so wish we could have some sunshine!! I crave it! I'm in Melbourne where there seems to be more rain and gloom than sun, although this might be the La Nina effect. Which state are you in, @tonys ? (State of Australia, I mean! Although feel free to write about your state of mind too 🙂 )
(We are allowed to mention major cities or states, just not a location that might identify us.)

@NatureLover About my cow,.. thanks mate.. spent last night trying to retrieve my digger, i helped a new baby goose break out of the shell this morning and calf is doing well. the bad days are handed to me to make the good ones look better. about the vet. yes its a shame that i had to pay for the lesson she learnt.. i am very forgiving of vacum and toaster sales men, but if your in the life saveing game, then your own life is on hold for your shift and every word matters. if all you have is an opinion then you have to check it with some one who has the facts. i did aged care for a little while and the day i thought i wasnt 100% on my game, i quit. any way she felt bad so i left a more appropriate letter than this one and some flowers when she was out to lunch.. .. think it was you or some one else who asked which state im in.. dishevelled and northern rivers,.... in between each rain drop there is a space where there are none.. tonys from moon base one

Hi @tonys
Sorry to jump in. I have read your post & I needed to let you know I think you have the kindest heart. I'm so sorry you lost your cow.
Animals are our amazing friends. Many people spend more time with a pet than they do with humans!
Your gentle & uplifting way at looking at the world is a great gift to accept.
Helping a baby goose to come into this world sounds awesome. And a healthy calf is lovely to hear about too.
Sorry, I am not caught up on the entire story - although I agree with everything you mentioned & those in charge of life/death situations must be professional.
I know my words cannot help much. Your attitude to life... Is life, to me!
I am too serious & deep at times. All the best Moon base one.

Oh no, @tonys - the cow that died had a baby calf? 😞

@NatureLover thank you for asking. hope you are well... still taking its measure.. for every action there is a...... well you know the physics lesson.. new tech is a big big step for me.. every now and then ill see a letter inked with blood from deep wounds.. its then that i feel im part of this world. we all need our yard sticks. be they manic sad or words of wisdom , the more each word speaks, the more it beckons me to belong. my rabbit who has competing interests for some real estate on my lap would tender an entirely different opinion. forgot to thankyou for those tips to links, i typed in about 20 ,,///..--- and letters and it said neuclear missile launch codes, so might be a bridge to far for now. keep warm, dry. and smileing. tonys,, moon base one. p. s attempt 3 to launch this letter. here goes

Flat white sounds good @Meowmy . Being flat does not. What’s been happening today?
