@tyme @Bow@RedHorse @ hello, just got in and its past midnight and im just pulling of the gumboots, they kept the water in nicely! . some one else asked if i live alone, think it was nature lover, guess it must be obvious.. i dont have time concepts but my book keeper tells me its been 4 years. if you read the letter about swamp thing ,( my dog), and the church lady, .. well lets just say,.. i have trouble living with me at times. i put her on a train to the city. it broke me. i still see her bare feet in the field, faded dresses, wild fire with freckles, chaseing butterflies. she just had to much damage and so many bad habits to dull her pain and i wasnt smart enough to understand her rage or fix her. i still get the odd letter and remember there were more good times than bad... thats why i like the rain, your tears get lost in the rain. i do have my animals and i talk to them and myself all day long. and when there all of to sleep, theres always the stars. try it.. theyll listen.....may your answers come in your dreams. all from tonys at moonbase one

@tyme @Bow hi. sent a kite late night after i got in after midnight, wet cold. animals all tucked in. now the first one wouldnt send. got the invalid message again. but then it said it auto saved and it reappeared, so i sent it again, and it said posted. logged in again to see if it was in your machinery, and couldnt find it.? i pour my heart out to an empty chair time to time middle of the night, have done for years, so no big deal for me, but i would worry if it happened to some one who wasnt as "weather proof" as me,. could it be that the computor at your end , times me out..or could it be it struggles with more than a few parragraphs, or maybe around midnight the in basket is full.. its got me curious now. may be your tech guy could shed some light on it. or if this has happened to any one else, please let me know. yours in good faith, a very puzzled tonys.

Was your kite the message below your last one? If yes, it landed!

I had the same trouble with invalid responses etc when I first started here and it seemed to be related to how long I stayed in the reply to message box - I think the Sane server is timing out.

There are two ways to deal with this = shorter messages or typing into a word processor and then copying it over to the message box before replying. I'm sorry I can't guide you further with the second option but maybe someone can point you in the right direction @moderator

Good question @RedHorse @tonys I'm not sure but I would try the shorter messages first. I will look into this for you and just tagging @Former-Member as she may have some ideas.

@Paperdaisy @RedHorse @Meowmy hi. thankyou for responses. i could not find the gumboots kite at midday today and when i came in at dusk, it was in my email with a large white space after it. so i logged on and was able to see it in the sane forum shop window, so it took 12 hours to surface. im glad you cant see me because my normally bland head is sporting a very confused lost look. thanks for the "timed out" clue. i thought i was loosing the plot till red horse said he had similar problems.. it takes me a while to put a letter together, and i like to paint a bit of a picture, i forgot how fast people communicate out there in the real world so better go before, im feeling the sane forum time clock snapping at my butt. hope this one goes. take care.. tonys
