Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey!!
Really good! We had some stuff at our local MTB club this morning where two of my kids rode and smashed it outta the park proud dad here one of the kids crashed (was ok, not my kid tho) and my kid helped him up and flagged down a volunteer to help
then rode off and left him on the ground but I was proud that he stopped to get help
then we had some visitors this afternoon and we all went down to the park/oval together

Now waiting for dinner to cook we are a bit behind schedule lol

That was my long winded version “good” would probably of done the job fine lol @Spirit_Healer

I didn't buy the car @ArraDreaming . Someone didn't want it and asked if I wanted it for the kids so I just said yes. The kids love it, but it is....s...ooo......s..l..oo..wwwwww....

Hahaha so slow in your eyes or theirs? @tyme because I remember going to a kids carnival when our oldest was younger and the only thing we were allowed on was a mini roller coaster and I got it off it so disappointed but then I remembered it was mainly for 3-6 year olds with a parent, not made for adults. So close to asking for a refund 🤦🏽
it was less a roller coaster and more a mini train with a little hill on the track

Re: Share a cuppa?

hahaha! True... @ArraDreaming

I guess it was slow in my eyes... they put it on and I just walked off and left them driving it on the back deck. Mind you, despite the speed (speed-lessness) of it, the kids still crashed it into stuff...

So yeah, maybe it's slow in my eyes.

How about you?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Haha, no, @ArraDreaming , I'm genuinely interested to know the details!

Sounds like you are a proud Dad today!

Good that you got to get some fresh air today.

The weekend is finishing too fast for my liking. My Dad found out on Friday that he's being made redundant, and so on Friday night and yesterday I was helping him to write new job application documents... it made me more tired than I expected! Totally forgot about the work I'd brought home to do this weekend, although I put in a lot during Friday at work and had simultaneously planned to give myself a weekend without work. Oh well.

That sounds like a very unexpected weekend @Spirit_Healer 🌺

I hope you can get a chance to rest this evening?

And I also hope things go well for your dad in finding a new job - wishing him all the best! 😊

Thank you, @Former-Member ! Yes, I'm having a quiet Sunday evening, to recharge for the week ahead.

You mentioned you needed a cuppa... what's been happening on your end?
