Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @ArraDreaming, I'm not going to project into the future, you never can tell with corona viruses whether you're going to get ill in the first, or even if that person spread it to you (it can take up to 2 weeks in incubation, though usually it's only 5 or 6 days) and today is day 3 from Sunday, so the odds are good so far). And she doesn't seem to be very ill, and that's a good indication the strain she's got isn't a strong one; though....my biggest concern is I would not like to pass it on to someone whose system isn't so robust, and I have friends who are elderly and have HIV.

I was going to say @ArraDreaming, I have touble getting to sleep too, and I've got a sleep mask that helps me get to sleep when I have difficulty doing so.

Haha so glad to hear that the kids are doing better today! They are very resilient little things aren't they, sick one minute and absolutely fine jumping off the walls the next. How are you feeling today? I hope it's coming to the end of your stomach bug for you and the fam @ArraDreaming

Hey! @Former-Member Sorry I wasn't online last night for the cuppa, I'm having one now though, a nice hot cup of vanilla latte. How are you feeling today?

Good to know that the family is recovered, but I'm sorry that you still feel really off. Haha I relate to that, I can never sit still even when I am sick if I can see that something needs to be done around the house. At least you are on the road to recovery if you're feeling better today than you did yesterday, thats a plus. I'm feeling alright today, just working until later tonight so taking it a bit slow @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @amber22 I will join you with a cup of coffee.

I'm feeling ok. Both my parents have come down with Covid so I'm dreading getting it. I shouldn't complain though only have had it once.

I don't usually drink coffee in the afternoon but I had a terrible sleep last night and need a pep up

Going to see my Wellways worker shortly ( psych-social ) rehab. So that should be good and off to run more errands.

How are you today ? 🌹🌻🌹

Hey! @Former-Member

Sorry to hear about your parents, I hope that they are okay. I remember when my parents got Covid and I thought I was DEFINITELY going to get it, but I managed to avoid it with some social isolation as much as I could. I hope you can avoid it too.

I don't usually have coffee in the afternoon either but I had a really bad sleep too! It must be something in the air for us! Was there anything keeping you up?

That sounds like a great afternoon, I hope it goes well. I'm doing okay today, just working until tonight and taking it slow 🙂
