Share a cuppa?

Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @ArraDreaming - well first of all, 4 days ago wasn't the greatest of days for you.

Secondly, you can choose to read it tonight but be prepared for the response (positive or negative), OR, wait for tomorrow (but then you probably won't sleep!).

Another option (if you wanted to get your partner involved) is to ask your partner to read it first, then give you a brief 'It's an okay message to read now' OR 'better read it tomorrow'. Whatever it is, you know you WILL read it. It is just how prepared you are for the response.

Then again, what if the response is totally better than you expected?

And NO, you can't throw your phone into the ocean 🙂

@Former-Member, I can never remember which one is alive! My partner said George is the one who loses his ear, but also who survives the end ❤️

They're such great characters. I always dreamed of getting my hogwarts letter as a kid hehe

Re: Share a cuppa?

I laughed out loud at the first part, 4 days ago was probably NOT a great time to message people venting my frustration… ha @tyme

I just can’t not look.

I think about the last time I got a nervous message and I chose to completely ignore it for 3 days and turns out it was exactly what I wanted to read and I was kicking myself I didn’t read it earlier.

I’m going to give it a go I think but first I think I need something stronger than a tea

One thing I've learnt in life (the hard way, by the way) is NEVER send emails and texts to people when you are not in a good headspace. The venting comes out worse than ever !

@ArraDreaming

I've seriously made a mess of so many things because I respond when I'm in an emotional turmoil...

That's your learning for tonight lol

Look @ArraDreaming - if you want to read it, be prepared for the worst, so when and if it does come, it won't hurt so much...

Also, if you read it now, at least you have us here for another hour to vent to and debrief with.
