I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Hi @Abner ,
Thankyou for being there for me. It's a real challenge right now. My relationship with my children is being destroyed. No birthday celebration and apparently no Christmas. My heart's broken. I'm not finding a lot of strength. The idea clearly being the longer I am prevented from seeing my children the less chance I have of them accepting me as their Mother. The so called new family are using all they have at their disposal to replace me. There is absolutely nothing I can do. I wait almost 10 weeks to hear anything about my children. It will in all reality be another 10 weeks. Despair has set in. Worse still to focus at work in the pain I'm in. I'd cry but not many tears left. I am sorry if I upset trigger etc anyone but I feel it's much worse to force down the emotional pain. Take care Abner.

Hi @Former-Member fortunately volunteer work that doesn't involve too much tech. Just found your message from yesterday.
I volunteer at Vinnie's in an op shop and a transport/(volunteer drivers) organisation that provides transport to people on Home Care packages, NDIS and those with needs regular transport services don't cater too. I love the role and is similar to my long term career in Aged care. I'm hoping to get a reference from the position to increase my opportunities in returning to Social Work after doing work out of the sector.

@tyme thank you so much. It's so wonderful. Think my MI makes me fragile and fractured ! I am lucky to have lived to my age over fifty.

Hi @amber22 ,
Thankyou for being there. For your support and kindness. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm going home to my partner and trying to eat a good meal and rest. I felt quite lost today. It was so hard to smile when my heart's breaking. I will be holding hands to try to get through this.

Wow @Former-Member, that is really cool. I always found that community jobs give you a wealth of experience and always shine on a resume. There is something about working with a diverse range of people that gives a holistic approach to any kind of work. Hopefully you can get a reference. What kind of social work do you want to get into? Such a broad sector!

Hey @Meowmy - for me, I have to count every day as a blessing (with tears). I NEVER thought I'd make it past 25 years old because I was in such a terrible state. I am forever grateful for the amazing people and services that have helped me so much.
I'm also so grateful for these forums because it taught me to reconnect with society.
