Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

So true @Former-Member . Consider how the hot choc tastes, smells, feels, sounds and looks.

Great mindfulness activity!

Re: Share a cuppa?

it’s already weird enough that my little sister is graduating let alone thinking about my own kids! @tyme Ahhh

also can I have a hot chocolate please - not staying for much longer but long enough for a hot beverage and maybe a cookie if you got any???

Re: Share a cuppa?

Everyone should have a hydration bladder backpack, even just for long walks or hiking, they're very practical, you carry them on your back, and as they empty you can refill them, and you don't lose them anywhere.

Hey @Abner , sounds like you are in a really good place! Certainly looking after yourself! I wouldn't mind having a quiche, and dirty chais lol.

Too good!

They are great we used to do a lot of small hikes and walking (a bit more time poor now sadly but want to get more into it) and they are always handy! @Abner

Sure @ArraDreaming ! I've only just baked some homemade cookies! An assortment in fact!

Take your pick! And of course, you can have your hot choc - made just for you!

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes @ArraDreaming and @tyme, we humans are a bit like cats in that we need to be reminded to hydrate with water rather than juice or softdrinks. Do you know that we make better choices when we're properly hydrated. People don't realise that having a hydration bladder full of water and sipping on it when you're at the shop or supermarket will positively influence your purchasing decisions because you're not stressed.

Thanks for the reminder @Abner ...I'm a bit bad in scoffing coke... I really honestly appreciate the reminder to stay hydrated with WATER.

Re: Share a cuppa?

When we're stressed after a long day at work or a stressful day with the kids, we often find ourselves at the supermarket, tired, hungry and thirsty, going "What are we gonna have for dinner?" and we pick the first easy feel good meals; they're packed with sugar, fat and high in salt, all addictive and quite bad for us. We pick them because in that state we're stressed and the pressure is on to feel good. When we drink some water, that pressure is relieved. I really can't stress enough everyone should have a hydration bladder backpack, you'll make better choices and be less stressed, even at work.
