Share a cuppa?
I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Hi @Former-Member ,
Thankyou so much. I'm consumed by equal parts of sheer anger, despair, numbness, resignation and betrayal. I know the tenuous ties my children might? still possess get severed more each day. It's a fight to get up go to work. Rinse and repeat....How could I compete with the wealthy new family. No wonder my children don't want me love me anymore. I haven't the strength to beg to or have any further dealings with the cruelest individuals I have ever met. I've been crushed down and ignored too many times. It is by a legal order that I am permitted to see my children. Yet how is there any point when the children don't want contact. Lovely news to hear after 10 weeks of silent. I can't imagine any improvement. Yet I need to see the so called carers as giving in lets them win. Not sure how to fight the constant put downs about me which is having a deep influence on my children. I'll never be the same again.

Hi @tyme @Bow @Paulette @Former-Member @Abner would like to share a cuppa with you all.
Cold here too with intermittent rain. Too cold 🥶 to go anywhere.
Night in for me - hot chocolate would be lovely.
Hoping everyone is well.

Yes, @Paulette when your children are involved, the emotional stakes are high. I also think it is hard to shake that competitive thought process. Kids can be unsure of how to respond to external scenarios too. Have you been able to get some advice from a parenting support program or person?? Sometimes access to these kind of services can give you strategies to bridge the gap in a child friendly way. I am sure you are already doing this, but sometimes it can be helpful to have an outside perspective.
Are you with someone tonight?
xx

Hi @tyme ,
There is nothing anyone could do to change my situation. I am trying somehow to deal with deep feelings of failure as a Mother. Searching for some loving memories but too clouded to think straight right now. Thankyou for being there to hold my hand. I really needed that.
