Welcome and getting started

Introduction

Introduction

Hi guys I am new here but just skipped over introducing myself and threw myself straight into the forums so let's rewind a minute.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder in 1990. It changed my life and not in a good way. My mother said "now you will never do anything with your life" and my Aunt said "we should put her in an institution". It was right then that I decided that I would live the best life I possibly could with this illness. I since met and married my husband and we had 3 gorgeous children who have all now reached adulthood. I have been in and out of hospital a lot since around 2008 and somewhere along the way had BPD added to my diagnosis. I enjoy art and crafts, playing computer games and watching tv. I was working with a psychologist and we were going to work on childhood trauma as I grew up in an abusive household but I kept getting sick so we are currently on a break. Not sure if I want to go back to therapy at this point in time. Not sure what else to add so I will just leave it here. Feel free to ask questions x

Re: Introduction

@Sophia1 well thats just perfect. I'm laughing myself silly over here. Mate From what I know of you

Sophia, I think you were born to be a reporter... I can see piles of folders, ceiling high all around

and a methodical steam engine , bells and whistles, printing press chugging over, and spitting out the gossip pages and haberdashery sales.

That'll bring nice decent folk to town.. the kind I like to rob...

Ok . . done drinking.. Get the gas bottle trolly n wheel me over to the rodeo.

RIP.... there goes my new britches stretching my legs over Bruno, the meanest bull in the west.

Little secret. . . tonys made sure the bull drank more than him. . . . . the bull staggers, slumps

to its belly, four legs splay out, north south east n west. the crowd goes wild. tonys 2guns..

takes the cup... . . wait a minut..... wait .. .. who's that standing behind the bull with a huge balloon and a pin... @LeChuck ... .. BoooooooooM......

tonys sails through the air... crashes through the roof of the lucky 8.. and that looks like his feet

sticking out of the top of the piano.

but what is that pink rubber ring around his neck..... Naaahh couldnt be could it...

Is that the Bulls asss hole. . . .

when tonys eyes stop spinning ...better give a drink. @Oaktree,

give an old timer a hand would you. think i got a bulls horn stuck in his, . . . .

well lets just say the same place all his other stories come from..

Yes cartoons are allowed.. I already put some up last rodeo.

Lol @tonys

Had a good laugh at your latest installment! Poor Bruno!

Have you got the cash for the cows?

Let’s go to a ranch and get a herd. I hear there is a rancher losing his farm so we can get a good herd cheap. Everything is going under the auctioneer’s hammer! Lovely herd of breeding cattle plus some steers good for the pot. Our Lioness will love some fresh bones! Then we can go back to the rodeo and buy one of their bulls for a stud with the cash we have left.

@Sophia1 Loved the picture of the colourful Indian. Where can I find art I can use for this on the internet?

@LeChuck enjoyed your cartoon and your musical contribution. Never heard of NF before. Quite a different sort of sound. Not unpleasant.

Yea yea @Oaktree tonys has cash all sorted.... but we aint gonna need it any way, I persuaded zee

rancher to explore an old gold mine I have. That was me nailing boards over the hole

no need to worry he'll be . .... fine.

Now, its on the hush hush.. If the news paper finds out, they'll hang me... and my horse...

Block your ears @Sophia1 . . . . . wonder if she'll take a bribe..

@LeChuck .. we your el friendo..s we cut you in on the deal..

Sniff ... sniff slobber slobber.... I smell prime beef getting tortured on the grill and I'm

hungry.

Stay happy folks.... tonys 2 gns

Re: Introduction

I am sure that the town reporter will take a bribe @tonys! Everybody loves money. It’s a real motivator.

Glad we have the herd sorted. Gonna have me some ribs for dinner. Smoked Hickory sauce. Yum yum, finger licking goodness!

Better not eat them all at once. We need to get the bull in and get them all up the duff. Next spring we will have plenty of meat to eat. Gotta think about futures.

Now what vittles are we gonna have? Corn and potatoes? I hear Big Chief has been growing some of those. I reckon we can barter with him. Little Foot’s sister Little Pest has been through Grey Rock looking for him. But we have Little Foot hiding out in The Lucky 8.

Pete the Piano Player is gonna play for the Sunday night drunks.

@tonys @LeChuck @Sophia1

Guess what?

I was out inspecting the farm and I noticed that I have my first seed germinating. I planted them last Sunday and I have been watering them and talking to them every day. You know just asking them how they are and encouraging them to grow. Well we haven’t had much sunny weather here this week so I was expecting them to take longer. I was trying to post a photo but I don’t know how. I think it’s file size is too big. Mighty proud of this tiny green shoot nonetheless! 🌱

Yey green shoots, I think thats very symbolic of the times we live in. Anything green, lucky

enough to stick its head up, we nurture love and worship it...

well done @Oaktree . . . . . @Sophia1 @LeChuck Goodnight my dear friends.

Music on , lights off. pot belly stoves got rosy red cheeks, and I'm going to relax with a red.

Um.... Sophia.. or someone. give me a Big Big warning if eternal flower books a room.

I'll have too be mindful of my manners for a bit. you know how it is.

chat soon . tonys2guns...
