Welcome and getting started

Introduction

Introduction

Hi guys I am new here but just skipped over introducing myself and threw myself straight into the forums so let's rewind a minute.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Affective Disorder in 1990. It changed my life and not in a good way. My mother said "now you will never do anything with your life" and my Aunt said "we should put her in an institution". It was right then that I decided that I would live the best life I possibly could with this illness. I since met and married my husband and we had 3 gorgeous children who have all now reached adulthood. I have been in and out of hospital a lot since around 2008 and somewhere along the way had BPD added to my diagnosis. I enjoy art and crafts, playing computer games and watching tv. I was working with a psychologist and we were going to work on childhood trauma as I grew up in an abusive household but I kept getting sick so we are currently on a break. Not sure if I want to go back to therapy at this point in time. Not sure what else to add so I will just leave it here. Feel free to ask questions x

Okay Hon - happy to @Oaktree @Sophia1

I have finished putting in the border and painted it. Most of the overgrown blackberries and weeds are out but have a couple of biggish tree trunks to cut out - need to have dry weather for that because I have to run the extension cord and get the BIG saw out Once that is done I have two big screens to put in - they have swirly circles on them and are a rust colour. I am going to cut out butterflies from some old roofing I have, paint them the same rust colour and screw on. Then I will need to get some soil to fill the area before I build a paw print mosaic over where Cat is buried. I have also bought some solar lights to light up the area so my beautiful little girl always knows where home is

Hello @Oaktree , @Sophia1 and @Zoe7

About an hour and a half ago, I decided that I should read notifications and make a drink. It is only in that time that I became aware of today's events.

I have read all the posts and acknowledged each one to signify my affection for you all and my concern. I am very pleased that neither of you let the sun go down without being back to talk with each other.

I am really very sad and sorry that you have both experienced such stress and distress. While it is not my place to thank @Zoe7 , I can certainly acknowledge that her input appeared to have had a calming effect for you both. I can also see that her input assisted in the process of you both coming to a resolution of the matters today, for which, I hope that it is not presumptuous of me to express appreciation.

You both have a special place for me, and for different reasons. At this stage, not having realised that it was so late, I am about to go to bed. I will be out for much of tomorrow, but will be continuing on with the project, on which I have been working for most of this afternoon, when I get back home.

A Very Special Goodnight to You All,

@Oaktree , @Sophia1 , @Zoe7

With All of My Very Best Wishes

@HenryX
