Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Woooohoo!!!

I NEED to celebrate... my last uni assignment has just been submitted!!! By the end, I'm just like 'meh? What am I writing?'... so I just submitted it. It was doing my head in!

That is a huge achievement for me. Of course I'll still have to wait to get my results, but for now, it's done! I think @Judi9877 , you know how good it feels to finish an assignment!

Thank you for everyone's support!

Good evening @RedHorse @Eve7 @BPDSurvivor @TAB @LostAngel @Paperdaisy @Former-Member @frog @Shaz51 and everyone here. Well done on your achievements forumites👍🏻⭐️!

@RedHorse well done on what you achieved today. To you, they may be small but to me, they are huge achievements because you actually did them and they meant something to you, despite you having a hard time. I have depression and know that the simple and litmus things can be huge in the scheme of things, even if they don't seem like it to others. I'm proud of you, forumite!

My achievements today were as follows:

- Finally got around to completing my uni study for the week and surprised myself by getting through the work so quickly in a matter of hours, including having lunch in the middle of it!
- We through some bags of yarn and discovered some beanies that I'd knitted for charity a while ago along with some projects in various stages of completion so I've added them on my to do list to work on.

- Finished off a beanie for charity to add to my donation pile to be delivered to a collection point in the next few days;

- worked on my Mental Health Recovery Blanket

- had Hawaiian pizza and garlic bread for dinner as I couldn't be bothered cooking tonight

- posted on Facebook and the forums here tonight in various discussion areas.

Have a great night and keep those wonderful achievements coming!

Judi9877☺️💐

Re: Daily Achievements!

So close @BPDSurvivor, I have 2 kumquat trees which has just finished fruiting. Never made jam before so we will see how we go! Fortunately my partner used to be a chef so he will be leading the jam making
