Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hi @Shaz51 @Adge @TAB @Former-Member @MDT and all forum members here.

Today, my achievements have been:

- Completing my First Aid certificate and passing it

- Helping my housemate with some self care strategies as she has been overwhelmed with her studies such as taking time out of her day to sit outside in the sun away from the classroom and using some lavender spray to help with stress and anxiety

- Going for a walk in the sun to help with my anxiety

- Eating 3 meals

- Posting on the forums again as l’ve missed the friendly forum community and hoping to reconnect again after taking time out to study and work on my mental health and its recovery process.

That’s my achievements for today.

Take care.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hey @Judi9877 good to see you back!!! 🌻❤️ Was wondering how you were going. Thats good with your daily achievements and being there for your housemate! 🙂 I have just prepared a weetbix mocha slice, cleaned my kitchen and put away grocery today. Got to bake some bread. My kitchen was a mess, now there is some order in there.

Got some good news: mentioned to @TAB my blood sugar has stabilised. Hoping I might be able to come off my diabetes medication. Don't know if thats possible have to talk to my diabetes educator. Its been too hot to walk in Melbourne but will get out there this afternoon as the weather is pleasant today

Its been a quiet year for me so far. Last year was full on - this year just am regrouping
