Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

We don't have Potato King here in Melbourne but that just sounds plain bad @TAB. The customer care person told me because I bagged it myself to freeze that they could not be responsible for spoilage. Have bagged my own meat all my life to buy in bulk. The last farmer I bought meat from would last for months in the freezer that I bagged myself. This meat was tough, full of fat, a strange color and when you cooked it the fat collected in the pot. I left the meat out to defrost last night and it went brown within hours and smelled foul! I don't know what kind of business they are running but the meat was really poor quality

Hey @Shaz51 🙂🌺

sounds like you’ve been really busy getting ready to focus on looking after Mr Shaz on the weekend with cleaning and washing 🙂💜

Today, I went to GP, had some blood tests, did 2 webinars after arriving home, and I’ll be on the forums later on ☺️🌺

still need to study, etc., but that’ll happen later on at night 🙂

Re: Daily Achievements!

Oooh well done @Shaz51

I find it SO hard to be consistent with housework. But always feel good when it's finished.

I managed to put a load of washing on and hang it before work today, as well as do a small workout which felt good.

I want to make some art later, but doubt I'll have the energy or time.

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Former-Member hope you're feeling rested today after such a huge daily with blood tests, internet learning, and forum work. I'm exhausted just reading this! Did you manage to study?

@Shaz51 I hope you've been kind to yourself around all the work you do, as well as everything going on with yourself and Mr Shaz.

@Former-Member the disputes with your grocery suppliers sound very frustrating. Apricot slice does sound delicious though. May I ask what book you borrowed?

@Oaktree wow, terrific job. Its always daunting tackling a big mess. I hope you feel fulfilled and have had a pleasant day.
