Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Yes the prn, unfortunately it doesn't do much for my panic attacks, I go numb in parts of my body now before I know I'm hyperventilating. All the best @Snowie with your next visit 🙂🌺

Re: Daily Achievements!

@Appleblossom , good to see you're back!

My achievements for today?

- walked to the super market today for the first time in a LONG time (I was coerced into going because when I have work to do, I don't move until it's finished....not healthy). So I'm glad I took that 20 mins out to enjoy the little left of the sunshine. Totally an achievement!

- I've snuck into bed early so that I can have enough battery power in me to face the new week. Working through lockdowns takes a lot of mental strain. I know if I don't have enough sleep, I'll collapse under the weight of everything.

Cant wait to go out for dinners and catch up with people. Countdown...only 3 weeks until I'm on holidays! Woohoo!

Hi @BPDSurvivor @Snowie @Former-Member @Appleblossom @utopia @LostAngel @Shaz51 @frog @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member and all forumites here. Congratulations on your wonderful achievements everyone🥳

Today, I achieved the following things:

- Chased up person about enrolling and paying for my Tafe course a different way (besides waiting for a potential scholarship)

- Ate 3 meals

- Took my housemate to the endodontist (tooth doctor specialist)

- Took my sister shopping

- Played with my cat Mitz and took some photos of her asleep on my bed

- Watched Big Brother on my iPhone

- Completed the back of a baby jumper for charity

There's not much for me to do since I'm in lockdown here in Melbourne so every little thing us an achievement for me right now.

Have fun forumites!
