Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

@Former-Member Monday & Wednesday afternoons the Men’s Shed turns into the Women’s Shed.

I’m just got promoted to Monday’s Supervisor, so the usual supervisor can play golf.

Bravo that sounds like fun @Glisten. You will be pleased with your furniture flipping youre doing right now. I have an old church pew that has been sanded back and painted cyclamen pink with lovely bright Mexican cushions. There was a minister of religion holding a garage sale and he had tonnes of 1970's style undulating curve church pews of which I bought one. Its in my kitchen and is nice to sit on.

Woke up early

- Did breathwork and epsilon meditation

- Hopped on chi exercise machine and did 15 minutes. My nervous system is feeling better

- Went through fruit bowl from last week and have cut up and froze leftover apples, pears and avocadoes. (I had to buy from the farmer for two weeks in advance as they have been on holiday over the xmas/newyear break.) The rest of my produce is in the fridge wrapped in aluminium foil so it doesn't spoil

- Cooked a loaf of bread this morning to use up my permaculture eggs as they are almost up to best before date. I have bread in the freezer but thought I better use the rest of the eggs!

- Put a load of washing through

- Did some kundalini yoga. I'm focussing on the 4 Pillars of Life to be in a happier more intuitive state of mind

- I'm now listening to Sapien Medicine health audios.

Blood sugar this morning was 5.5 but I weighed myself and have put on 2kg since xmas. Have not been exercising due to hotter weather plus had a mars/pluto transit which requires me to either avoid or take precautions with dangerous parts of town.

Had other instances of criminal encounters twice under that mars/pluto astro influence in the past- after my dog was euthanased and saw this hood at the end of the street contemplating what he would do and another occasion when I was walking down the street and this undesirable on a bike stops and forces me to have a conversation with him. On both occasions I felt unsafe but got out of a potentially dangerous situation. The transit ends Sunday

I'm deliberately not leaving the house @TAB but if I do I take precautions. I live in a crime riddled suburb. Its not worth the risk.

Well done, @Former-Member. Sounds like you've been busy. I'm having a lazy day today after two days of driving refresher lessons. He said I don't need any more as I'm a safe driver (after 11 years of no driving!). That was nice to hear. Actually I have been intensively viewing youtube driving lesson videos and I found them very beneficial.

I just watched another on Nikola Tesla and crystals. Sure is a lot to learn and consider in this world. In it, the term 'our thoughts have a frequency' made me wonder if that is at the essence of telepathy.

I'm considering baking some apple turnovers today or tomorrow. Not as healthy as your food, but I'm not diabetic, thankfully.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Thats really good @Historylover when do you get your new car? You would be really thrilled about not needing any more driving lessons. You tube can be a great resource. I haven't driven in as many years either myself. You have something to look forward to!

Look up Harry Oldfield he uses crystal inventions to diagnose disease before it manifests.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO8xjQI6SgA

He can also use crystal technology to see what past and existing health problems you have had.

He can tell if you haven't had a good nights sleep 24 hours prior or if you were involved in a life threatening car accident early on in life just from using crystal tech to peer into the energy field.

His work was so controversial it ended up getting confiscated by the government

Re: Daily Achievements!

Very interesting video, @Former-Member. So much of these outfield sciences are absolutely fascinating but are being overlooked/dismissed because few will 'put their reputation and credibility' on the line to even consider what to many folk is seen as too New Age/woo woo. As a consequence, development of these sciences are going on mainly only in the background. I would love to have a Kirlian photograph done, but all these things cost money and who knows if the result would be satisfactorily credible. I would dearly love to find a reputable psychic for a reading too.

I have to maintain a healthy level of scepticism throughout. Even things I believe sometimes have holes in their presentation and I am compelled to throw my proverbial spanner in the works to keep the fellows honest and thinking clearly. He said that the energy disappears at death, but how could he photograph a ghost, with a filter on his lens, if there was no energy level?

From my studies of the paranormal/metaphysical, at this time I can only conclude that we imprint on others' consciousness and the environment in which we live, and it leaves a trace after our death which genuine psychics read. So I wonder how that tallies with Harry Oldfield's findings?

I get my car in early February and it will be a painfully long wait. My eagerness is becoming all consuming. I viewed so many youtube videos that I was a different driver when I got out on the road. Two lessons and he said that's all I need, so it shows that it really is like riding a bike.

Re: Daily Achievements!

Well I don't think I'll be so much of a go getter this year. My numerology personal year number seems to indicate I need to slow down the pace a lot.

@Oaktree has been encouraging me to keep putting on atmospheric music to relax and have a sense of peace which has served as a useful reminder to me. I have felt so highly strung. Just gotta slow down. I've been told to allow things to come to me this year instead.

So today put on a track from the same you tube channel she recommended and had some ylang ylang aromatherapy and just rested.

Another occult system I follow is Human Design and it indicated this more broadly. So have been taking the pressure off and am trying to recalibrate after such an active year last year. I've reached all my goals last year healing myself and achieving greater vitality.

I'm tired today. But think resting is a useful daily achievement, its time that is not wasted.

Prepared some peanut/choc/chickpea treats after returning a book to the library.

Its going to be a quiet 2024
