Daily Achievements!

Daily Achievements!

Hi forum friends! I've decided to start a new thread on Daily Achievements because I suffer from depression as one of my mental illness and that means it's often hard for me to remind myself that I do actually things in my day, no matter how small they may be. I thought forumites could post here a daily achievement or 2 so we can remind ourselves that we have done something good each day. It can be as big or as small as you like. Just as long as what you did makes you proud and happy.

I'm tagging @roses @Bow @Shaz51 @BPDSurvivor @saltandpepper @Daisydreamer @Former-Member @Former-Member @Former-Member @TideisTurning @Former-Member @frog @Sans911 @outlander

in case you might be interested as well as anyone else who wants to join in!

So, to get this discussion started, I'll post my achievements today which are:

- I had a gorgeous cup of tea which helped me deal with some anxiety I was experiencing;

- I paid my car registration which was due today.

See what I mean about achievements? Mine may seem small or irrelevant to some people but to me, because I have depression, these are actually major in the scheme of my life. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.

Re: Daily Achievements!

I haven't @TAB and didn't know such a thing existed. Will go into Optus store next time I go into town (whenever that may be)…

Just to be sure this is a booster/arial for a mobile phone? I don't have a PC or laptop?

Thanks, RedHorse 🌹🐴

P.S I can get 4 + bars as long as I am about 50m away from the caravan and my partially enclosed living area, including when sitting in the ute.

Re: Topic Tuesday // Supporting loved ones living with BPD // Tuesday 25th January, 7pm-8:30pm AEDT

Hi, @Adge just tagging a few people who are online right now!

We'll be starting a discussion on supporting loved ones living with BPD in 15 minutes and would like to invite you to join us if you are interested

Thanks @cloudcore for Tagging me.

I was in Hospital Today - Having Gastroscopy + Colonoscopy.

I'm only just Home now, 6.15pm my time (9.15pm AEDT).

I could not Repy on the Topic Tuesday Thread - It was Locked.

In any case - I count 24 hours of required Fasting & Liquids only (since Yesterday) as an Achievement in itself.

The Hospital Procedures were Easy & a Walk in the Park - Compared to the Dietary Prep (Beforehand).

Yes I'm hungry - I wasn't allowed to eat anything since Yesterday (Monday).

Re: Daily Achievements!

Hope you're ok @Adge having 3rd colonoscopy in 12mths time

Re: Daily Achievements!

All the Best with that @TAB

This was my 3rd or 4th Colonoscopy/ Gastroscopy, over the decades.

Harder & less pleasant with experience- Rather than the other way around.

The DES Providers phoned me whilst in Hospital today - To Harrass me about something else.

I told them I cannot do any non-hospital correspondence until Thursday.

DES people & everyone else in person had forgotten that I told them I would be in hospital.

Sane Forum people are the only people who remembered....🙂
