Anyone else cracking open a bottle at 3 in the afternoon? Feeling shitty. I don't even know why really, just been feeling shitty alot lately. I shouldn't have started drinking, just one I tell myself, just one because I have to function tonight when my boy comes over... i just want to go to drink and pass out. Anyone around?

My son's Dr loves the "he's an adult" card. Yes on paper.
Is he functioning?
Is he able to take care of himself?
Is he very sick?
I think it annoys him to have to speak to me (son's choice)
I ask questions.
He's quick to want to discharge the minute my son says I want to go home.
Instead of reminding him that he waited 22 days for the bed. He's very unstable. He needs help. Oh well if you're unhappy I'll discharge you. WTF!!!

Aw gee @Anastasia I can understand your frustration with the doctor. Perhaps you can try pointing out to the doctor that age isn't really the issue. Whether he is 10/20/30/40 it makes no difference. His inability to provide care for himself right now has nothing to do with age and everything to do with his mental health. Is there another doctor around you can talk to? Someone who can provide a second opinion to the doctor?
Doctors can be such pri*ks sometimes. They don't like being asked questions, hurts their egos too much.
