@Mazarita

The ups and downs of life can be milder like gentle waves or really throw us around as if we are in choppy seas. Glad you are feeling better.

Living with pain is not for sissies!

@bipolarbunny

Great to have your vibrant energy around.

@Shaz51 @Dimity @eth @HenryX

I am coming to terms with being comfortable and at home in my skin. It seems to have taken a long time, for me to become aware, even of the simple reality of personal temperature, and then put things in place, like heaters, slippers, layers and rugs, and then remembering to use them before I get too cold. Der ... getting there .... lol

Cheerio All

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

Hi from 3am, @bipolarbunny @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @Dimity @eth and all,

After my jubilant post about the rare event of feeling pretty good this morning (yesterday morning, just haven't slept yet since then), the day got harder, mostly because I became so wired over the day and evening, to a level I find painful and hard to deal with.

Not sure I'll be able to do the big bushwalk I've been looking forward to, as I have not yet been able to sleep yet. It is probably best for my physical health if I do not take on something so challenging without good rest. Can do it next week if need be.

Now, in the middle of the night, I am calmer. I often find myself overstimulated in various ways during daytime hours.

@eth only just found your post now, sorry we missed each other so closely earlier in the day (yesterday). I often just post and go these days. Hope your week is going well, my friend.

@bipolarbunny you gave me a big grin thinking of you and your psychologist jamming during a session. Jeff is a legend, as are you.

Peaceful awakenings to all here.

Good morning @Bunniekins @Shaz51 @Mazarita @Appleblossom @Dimity @HenryX @StuF and everyone else passing through.

Just got my second Covid jab, so will be having a chillin arvo. Did an easy ride before I left just in case I felt unwell after the jab.

How's everyone else's day going? xx

@bipolarbunny

I spent a large chunk of yesterday organising my jabs. Was a bit stressful, but got it (well, the booking) done.

Apart from that, today, just came home from a psychiatrist appointment. Quite eerie with the lack of people out and about. Mind you, there are probably still more than should be given we are in lockdown.

I've been withdrawing from the forums a bit this week. Finding myself affected by other people's stories and my inability to render any assistance...and getting a bit triggered, I suppose. I'm not leaving- I like it here!- but yeah, probably even less involved than before (which hasn't been much anyway lol)

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

@StuF Hey Stu, congrats on getting everything booked, yeah definitely stressful, but I'm glad I got mine done with.The needle itself was nothing, I've had mozzie bites I felt more. I had Pfizer and apart from a stiff shoulder and neck nothing drastic on the first one. Jury is still out on this second jab but it's been 4.5 hours and I'm feeling okay so fingers crossed.
I completely understand your need to pull back from the forums for a while. It definitely can become overwhelming and triggering and you gotta look after yourself mate so do what's right for you, we will all still be here for you when you decide to come back.

In the meantime take care, sending you big hugs xx
