Hello BB
It's great to see you back, having dealt with the NDIS documentation. I do hope that your submission will be successful. From what I can understand, the process causes many people considerable problems and distraction (probably descriptions too mild).
“
Thank you so much for your observations about the posts that I had written.
“
While my home had a different social structure, much of what you describe rings bells for me. It's hard to know sometimes how facing these issues makes us feel at any given time. I know that, sometimes, I feel that a weight has been lifted in being able to express, in writing, the conditions and feelings. And yet at other times, the recollections and associated feelings seem to come crashing in, in overwhelming waves.
“
It is apparent from the descriptions given by others that that type of situation can be quite common. Unfortunately some of the bureaucratic requirements can tend to precipitate such feelings. The difficulty is that it is hard to know whether this is part of a process of renewal or simply a continuation of what we have come to expect as part of our lives.
“
One thing that I feel quite certain of, is that the opportunity to express the story of those events and feelings on this forum, among people we get to know, even though through pseudonym and avatar, does tend to lift some of the psychological weight. It is really amazing, yet rewarding, that people can become confidants and friends in these circumstances.
“
Again, It is good to see you back and hopefully less frazzled. Thank you for entrusting us with your story of childhood, early adulthood and subsequent issues. Also for your observations about what I write.
“
And Thank You for your poetry.
With Best Wishes
HenryX
