Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

Hello Henry, I think we all are guilty of trying to minimise our past and our pain I think it is our brains way of getting us through each day. But we on here know there is no need for that we understand the pain, trauma and the feeling of worthless.

I am so happy that you have found great positives of late and the community has come together to help. That's so wonderful 💙

I am wondering whether Anastasia would like to have a cuppa?

My day hasn't been overly productive, though I have accomplished a good deal in the last week,

I seem to have a cold, that has been building up over the last few days. Out here "in the bush", and being relatively isolated in a town of less than 1000 people, I'm pretty sure that it is unlikely to be the dreaded virus. However, if we do have a way of checking here, it would probably by advisable.

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

Dear @HenryX I read your long posts and appreciate your efforts to understand yourself and improve your relationships. I'm sorry I don't feel equipped to respond in the depth and detail you need. My pdoc has told me the years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy I undertook with a former clinician were inappropriate for my current bipolar diagnosis and may have been damaging. I do have unresolved trauma from early childhood through to young adulthood but have no outlets for dealing with it. I'm sympathetic and do care deeply for you and your situation. Please forgive my candour but I think we're diverging from the bipolar theme of this thread.

Wishing and hoping all here can experience safety and comfort.and acknowledging my own brokenness and sometime pain,

Dimity.
