Well, as usual, when I start looking for something on the internet, I get carried away and time all too quickly slips by. It is nearly 11.30 pm here. I thought I'll have a look at SANE to see what everyone is 'sayin'. And then, the opportunity to respond and say 'Good Night'.
@Meowmy Thanks for your response. You are right, the weather is one small part of our, sometimes, complicated lives. And surviving is something we each take turn about with, in between the better parts that we try to enjoy as much as possible. Tuesday, the sound of the rain and the heater seemed to have a calming effect for you.
@Dimity, I like your analogy regarding “Nature taking a deep breath with each change of season .” And agree with you about taking the best from each day that we can. Also empathise with your thoughts about missing the chance to immerse yourself in “beaches and bushland”, from the time that I used to live and work in the city.
@greenpea Looking back to Friday last, I noticed that you were not keen on mowing lawns, but you do have a cottage garden. A friend came to see me today. We were outside and speaking about gardens. Mine is non-existent at the moment. I have increased my pain relief medication in the last couple of days. The effect has been so positive that I actually feel like getting out and sprucing up the place. For some time I haven't felt like doing the things I need to do, let alone what I would like to do. So it was good to be able to talk about the first part of the garden plan. Also, part of the exercise regime that I should be acting on. So look out garden. Later on @greenpea, you mentioned that you are enjoying the autumn weather in a calm and “pea”ceful way.
@Frog, on Friday, you were talking about going to a friend's place despite not feeling so well. I hope your day improved and your visit with friends was pleasant. Also that you have felt better since then.
@Shaz, there was a bit of a gap in the discussion between Friday and Tuesday. However, with the starter “Does the weather affect you ??”, and reflecting on Mr. Shaz being adversely affected by it, Shaz got us going again. I can tell you that Shaz is a hard person to follow. As a Community Guide, she is very active in a lot of threads and manages to help keep conversations ticking over at a lively pace.
@Mazarita, extended her greetings to the clan here and talked of her experience with Melbourne weather. Definitely not to her liking. Now living quite a bit further North of Melbourne and enjoying what the area and region have to offer. Listening to and finding the sound of rain to be soothing – as long as it doesn't get too cold.
And that brings us to yesterday morning with greetings to each other. This is my
Good Morning Greeting
to members active on this thread from time to time
With My Best Wishes,
