@Shaz51 Hmm... I know for myself I always get really frazzled when at the doctor's. Makes me forgetful and sometimes I miss things! I can imagine Mr Shaz w his ADHD can probably relate.

Maybe sit down w him and you two write up a list of the most important points you want to chat about? And like, what the ideal outcome might look like?

@Shaz51 Sounds like it was pretty hectic for both of you. I reckon you're already helping heaps hun, just sticking by him and being your incredibly kind and loving self is amazing, and enough. Just gotta take it day by day, give him time to process the info, and you can always ask him directly what he needs/what would be most helpful. And don't forget your own needs along the way; take breaks as needed, get rest, and do the things that nourish you. Seeing you do that stuff also helps him - cos he'll see that you are okay, and maybe even take the leaf of self-care out of your book when he sees it.
