Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

Hi @Sirine You must be terribly confused. Hopefully your doctor has explained why the change and what the new diagnosis means. If not, prepare some questions and ask them to disclose in detail. Also hope you’ve got some good supports - and that they understand what this means for you and how they can help. Make sure you read up. Any medication offered to you should be accompanied by what it is doing and the pros and cons. Sorry to harp on, but if your lost you might be feeling anxious (as well as lost) and all the above might help in reducing that. Hope this helps.

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

@Shaz51 . Hugs. Are there things you can do if you feel he is heading for a crash? Like put certain strategies in place?

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

@Shaz51 hey Shaz, I get like Mr Shaz. It's hard to control. May be just remind him. It usually helps me when I realise I am heading high

@Meowmy , @tyme

We have a easier week coming up so that is good

I have reminded him a few times but his mind is working overtime at the moment

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

@Shaz51 hey Shaz, may be he needs some strategies to slow down. Sometimes it's very hard. Guess best if can soften the down turn.

Re: Let`s talk about Bipolar

Not easy @Shaz51 . I agree with you and @Meowmy it's important he's aware of it. For me I'd watch the caffeine, walk off some of the energy, try to sleep usual hours, consider checking in with pdoc if concerned as some meds can tip the balance (I remember you mentioning he'd had some changes).

Hope it works out.

All the best,

Dimity

Ohh @Dimity I forgot about his medication change again

The specialist has decreased his anti depression meds in half

He has only one coffee a day now

And taking longer to fall asleep and then awake at 5am
