Not easy @Shaz51 . Can you write things down so you know they're on paper and you don't have them on your mind all the time? I just found the lists of pro's and con's I wrote years ago when making decisions about work options vs study possibilities vs health impacts. You can add to the lists when you want to then give yourself a break. Do you have any timelines for the different decisions? You might be able to set some interim goals then work towards longer term stuff eg you might need to set up dialysis before you can get the new house finished, then move when it's done. We'll be here for you.

You're a bit like a juggler @Shaz51 keeping so many balls in the air at once - your health, your mum's health, mr shaz's health. the house. It sounds like your own health is the one you need to make a decision about in the short term and your kidney specialist might well be able to advise you on a timeline there. Maintaining the house block to rebuild or selling it can take as long as you want. Poor Mr shaz is probably worried by trying to deal with everything at once. It's pretty amazing how you look after each other. Maybe you could agree to put off thinking about the new house for a month or two. Would you need any changes to your mum's place if you're staying there?

yes a few family members think we should just stay in our mum`s house and sell our house block

there is no hurry so we will see what happens this year 2022

Hi @Shaz51 nice to hear from you. I hope you and mr shaz are feeling more relaxed after the break. It's good if you're not feeling pressured to make a decision and I hope your family respects that.

I'm OK, pottering on. I get a bit tired and dizzy after a walk to the shops so need to be fitter and maybe watch my heart condition. I'm aiming to walk more and eat less (2 days/week in the 5:2 diet)

I think you've sent some Qld weather south - we've had warm wet humid stormy weather.

but they are thinking another cyclone is forming over the weekend

we are self employed but we have cut back on a lot of work we have because mr shaz is not coping and my mum needing more care xxx

Warm and well here, everyone. I say "warm" because it is 42℃ here at the present, about 3:00 PM, W.A. time.
